Ingleses, Week 38

OIIIII tudo bem? This week was really good! I learned a lot and we had a lot of success in the area! I love being a missionary! Here is what happened!

ZONE CONFERENCE! we had a great time, I learned a lot! But really the highlight was that our investigator Dayana called us during the conference and said they wanted to get married so that she and her daughter could get baptized!! It was the best and I definitely cried. Blessings! I love seeing people gain unwavering testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ restored to the earth!

This week we set 3 more dates for baptism with Clercio, his son Lucas, and Mom Claudete! We are so excited for them and the progress they are making!

We had this awesome experience with this one lady we met, Monalisa, she has a husband that may or may not be possessed. Her house had some bad feelings, and she said that there is something stopping her from praying in her house, we had to go out to the road to pray. But she loved our message, and we are going to try and help her and her husband.

We taught about the word of wisdom this week to Dayana and Julian, and they are doing so good, they have such strong testimonies and desires to follow God!

We taught this one referral Leni and Patricio, that were so so prepared, she loved especially our message about the restoration, and they said that they would pray to know for themselves! It was such an awesome lesson, and when sister Souza was sharing the first vision, I felt the spirit so strong, and I felt that Leni felt it. It was way special!

We had soooo much rain this week. Not just rain, but heavy rain, without stopping! It always makes the missionary work more interesting, and makes us catch a lot of waves from the cars on the road, but it is the best, and makes me laugh so hard! haha!

We had this amazing experience with a woman named Elisangela. We were walking on the road to make contacts and we saw this woman pushing and empty baby stroller, crying hysterically. I felt strongly to stop her and talk to her. She didn't want to be stopped, but we stopped her, and helped her. She was wanting to commit suicide, and was praying to God to show her a sign of love, or help. And that is when we stopped her. We walked with her to the police station to sort out some of her problems when we saw a sign that said, "gone to dinner" and the police station was closed!! Ohh Brazil..... we ended up getting help from another church that was open (was night) and their priest said a crazy yelling prayer, with his hands on their heads, screaming and shaking them....Lets just say I am a missionary of the only true church...I really gained a testimony of God's love, and following promptings!

That's it! Love you all!!

Love, Sister Crofts

Tired and happy sister missionaries!

Stayed up way too late braiding each other's hair!
