Highlights:
- Yesterday was Easter, which was sooo good!! We got so many treats and food from our sweet members, we got spoiled. That night we had a musical devotional about Christ which was awesome. Us missionaries sang "I'm trying to be like Jesus" and I sang a solo which was fun!
- We knocked a ton of doors this week and actually had a lot of success! We went to this one house that let us inside!! He said that he was born catholic, and will die catholic....but we see a bunch of potential. We really could see them in temple white. Which was so cool!
- We also had a really cool experience with a Jehovah Witness. My companion used to be Jehovah witness so I taught her to say that she used to be JW to every Jw we meet, and to say "do you want to know why I left!" and we actually got into someones house to teach a lesson which was awesome!!
- I finished the new church book Saints ( in Portuguese), I was addicted and it was the best book ever, It really reaffirmed my testimony of the Restoration and of the living prophet that we have today!
- Oh! This week I was craving sushi so I bought some-- it was awesome!!
- We met this one man, and started talk about how we are missionaries of the church of Jesus Christ. then he proceeded to ask us if we believe in Jesus Christ...
- We had the thought to stop by one of the people we are teaching, and shared a scripture with her and she started crying and said she really needed us to come by in that moment. Promptings from the Spirit are so special!
I know that God lives, that he sent His son to die for us, and that he is risen today!
